Over the past 24 hours, on July 8, Russian troops launched attacks on Kharkiv and nine settlements in the Kharkiv region. Three people were killed and another 50 were wounded in the shelling; among the victims were four children.

In Kharkiv, a man and a woman, both around 60 years old, were killed in the attack. Forty-four people were injured, including boys aged 17, 16, and 3, as well as a 12-year-old girl. Another victim—a 57-year-old woman—was killed in the village of Tsupivka in the Derhachi community.

There are also casualties in the villages of Shevchenkove and Lozova, as well as in the Kindrashivska community. In addition, medical personnel provided assistance to three residents of the region who were injured as a result of previous Russian shelling.

“Medical personnel treated a 56-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man who were injured on July 7 as a result of shelling in the village of Odnorobivka in the Zolochiv community, as well as a 65-year-old woman who was injured on June 24 during shelling in the village of Okhrymivka in the Vovchanska community,” said Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

In addition, Russian troops attacked the Kyivskyi, Nemyshlianskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv with missiles and drones. In total, the occupiers used three missiles, a guided aerial bomb, a “Lancet” drone, three “Molniya” UAVs, eight FPV drones, and another 23 drones, the type of which is still being determined.

The attacks damaged civilian infrastructure. In Kharkiv, two gas stations, two apartment buildings, three private homes, an educational institution, a service station, a utility building, and vehicles were damaged. Damage was also reported in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, Lozova, and Chuhuiv districts of the region.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, 268 combat engagements took place on the front lines, and nine areas where Russian troops were concentrated were struck.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces killed three residents of the Kherson region and wounded 19 others.
