In Kyiv, an enemy drone struck the building of the “We Are Ukraine” TV channel right in the middle of a live broadcast by journalists. The building sustained partial damage as a result of the strike. There are casualties, and the number may rise.
Strike on the “We Are Ukraine” TV Station Building
A drone struck the building of the “We Are Ukraine” TV channel, where the “United News” telethon was airing at the time. The attack occurred in the middle of the day, just as journalists were broadcasting live.
As a result of the strike, the building was partially destroyed. All necessary emergency services immediately began working at the scene. The fire that broke out after the strike has already been extinguished by State Emergency Service personnel.
As of now, five people are known to have been injured as a result of the attack on the TV channel. According to Zelenskyy, this number may still rise.
“Suicide attacks against the media mark a new chapter in Russia’s degradation, and Europe and the world must certainly respond to this,” the head of state said.
The president added that no attack on Ukraine or Ukrainians should go unpunished. In his words, Russia must be stopped, and this can only be achieved through joint efforts.

As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
