A Russian drone struck the SBU building in downtown Kyiv
On September 4, a Russian drone struck a building belonging to the Security Service of Ukraine near the “Zoloti Vorota” metro station in central Kyiv. A fire broke out at the scene.
Eyewitnesses report that an explosion was heard around 3:30 p.m., after which thick smoke began to rise in the Zoloti Vorota area.
Klitschko reported that the fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district was caused by a drone crashing onto the roof of a non-residential building. “Emergency services are heading to the scene,” he added.
He later wrote that one injured person had been hospitalized by medical personnel.
The “Zavertaylo” café chain stated online that their location near St. Sophia Cathedral had been destroyed.

In the Khmelnytskyi region, a warehouse belonging to one of the local enterprises caught fire after debris from a downed Russian strike drone fell on it. The fire covered an area of 200 square meters, according to Serhiy Tyurin, head of the regional military administration.
Over the past day, 15 private homes were damaged in the Mykolaiv region as a result of attacks by Russian Shahed-type strike UAVs. A social services building and three cars were also damaged, according to Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Head Heorhiy Reshetilov.
