Russia came under a massive drone attack overnight
On the night of April 23, a massive wave of fixed-wing drones swept over the territory of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country reported that air defense systems were activated in more than ten regions, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
According to official data from the Russian Defense Ministry, the attack lasted throughout the night—from the evening of April 22 to the morning of April 23.
The occupiers claim that they allegedly managed to intercept and destroy 154 Ukrainian drones in various parts of the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories.
The geography of the nighttime explosions was extremely wide, covering both border regions and deep rear areas of Russia.
The regions of Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, and Samara were targeted.
The invaders paid particular attention to the situation in the southern sector, where drones were spotted over the occupied Republic of Crimea.
UAV flights were also accompanied by air defense activity over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, indicating attempts to strike maritime infrastructure.

In the Odesa region, port facilities were damaged as a result of a massive attack by Russian strike drones on the night of April 22.
The day before, Russian drones attacked an agricultural enterprise in the Chernihiv region. Equipment and buildings were damaged. No one was injured, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
