Intelligence warned of a possible massive shelling of Ukraine on the night of October 7

According to intelligence reports, Russia is preparing a new massive combined strike against Ukrainian territory using approximately 35 ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as jet-powered UAVs. Tu-95MS and Tu-160 strategic bombers have completed their redeployment between airfields in the aggressor country and are ready to carry out combat missions as early as the night of October 7.

According to monitoring sources, the enemy’s air force regrouped between the airfields of Ukrainka, Engels, and Olenya.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Air Force and Ukrainian security services are ready to respond to a possible attack within the limits of their available resources, urging citizens to respond to air raid alerts without fail: “Please, I beg you, stay safe. Please respond to missile danger alerts.”

The head of state emphasized that the effectiveness of defense depends largely on air defense capabilities and support from international partners, particularly the United States and European countries.

Zelenskyy reported this in a Telegram post.

Today, October 6, Russia launched a series of strikes on a highway in the Odesa region. The attack damaged trucks and passenger cars, and there are casualties.

On the morning of October 6, Russian troops attacked Sumy with strike drones. One of the enemy drones struck a 10-story residential building, injuring two people, including a 16-year-old boy.
