Sibiga refuted Putin's claim that Svyatogorsk had been captured
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga called Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin’s statement about the alleged occupation of Svyatogorsk false. According to him, the Russian leadership should verify information from the battlefield before making such statements publicly.
He noted that a week ago, Putin claimed that Svyatogorsk was under Russian occupation.
“Today, @ab3army and Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky published a video from Svyatogorsk. Conclusion: Putin lies as easily as he breathes,” the Ukrainian foreign minister noted.
“Moscow must verify the accuracy of its reports from the battlefield before Putin makes them public,” Sibiga wrote on the social media platform X.
Ukraine has sharply increased its use of ground robots on the front lines.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine had been preparing to welcome Donald Trump’s special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, at the airport. However, due to Russian airstrikes, the American representatives were unable to fly and arrived in Kyiv by train.
