Unmanned aerial systems struck 12 vessels of the Russian Federation’s shadow fleet in the Black and Azov Seas
Between August 1 and 8, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems struck 12 more vessels of the Russian shadow fleet in the Black and Azov Seas.
According to the Special Operations Forces, from August 1 to 8, operators from the 414th “Madyar’s Birds” Brigade, the 20th K-2 Brigade, and the 413th “Raid” Regiment carried out combat missions in the Black and Azov Seas.
As a result, 12 more vessels from the remnants of the Russian shadow fleet were struck.
The Russian military attempted to counter the Ukrainian operators’ operations using the “Pantsir” anti-aircraft missile and gun system. Footage of the incident was published by the Unmanned Systems Forces.
At the same time, Russian countermeasures did not prevent the Ukrainian military from continuing to carry out their assigned tasks.
The Unmanned Systems Forces noted that, in total, since the start of Operation “MoLoChKa,” which has been ongoing since July 6, the Ukrainian military has effectively engaged 218 vessels.
Of these, 134 vessels were in the Sea of Azov and 84 in the Black Sea.
Thus, the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces continue operations against vessels of the Russian shadow fleet, which the Russian Federation uses to circumvent international sanctions and ensure oil exports.
