Unmanned aerial vehicle forces struck a Russian General Staff radio station in the Kherson region
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, operators from the 413th “Reid” Unmanned Systems Regiment detected an R-161-5 “Polyus-5” mobile radio station belonging to the Russian General Staff. After detection, the target was struck twice.
The R-161-5 is a medium-power vehicle-mounted shortwave radio station designed to operate within the radio networks of the General Staff of the Russian Federation.
The complex is part of the “Polyus” communications system and is used to provide communications at the strategic command level.
The station is a mobile system: the R-161-5 is mounted on several vehicles, allowing it to be deployed directly in the field.
“Raid” operators struck the detected target twice, hitting a component of the Russian military communications system in the occupied part of the Kherson region.
The regiment reported this on social media.
