Over the past 10 months, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems have destroyed more than 24,000 pieces of Russian military equipment
Since the creation of this new branch of the military, Ukrainian unmanned systems units have demonstrated exceptional effectiveness, taking out tens of thousands of enemy weapons.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces.
According to the command, over the past 10 months, more than 24,000 targets have been struck, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, and the occupiers’ air defense systems. The use of a wide range of drones—from reconnaissance to strike FPV kamikaze drones—has significantly undermined the Russian Federation’s army’s offensive capabilities in key sectors of the front. Currently, the UAS Forces continue to build up their capabilities by deploying new types of interceptor drones to control the airspace.
In particular, since the formation of the SBS group on June 11, 2025, operators have destroyed:
- over 3,900 cannons and howitzers;
- over 12,000 units of light, heavy, and specialized vehicles;
- over 7,600 motorcycles and buggies.
“This result is the product of ten months of daily work. There are still many tasks ahead. Without slowing down, we continue to do what we must,” the SBS emphasized.
Ukrainian drone operators destroyed over 3,000 targets during the first ten days of April.
