Defense Forces Struck the Saratov Oil Refinery in Russia — General Staff

On the night of September 10–11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Saratov Oil Refinery in Russia. Fires were reported on the refinery’s premises following the attack.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The extent of the damage and the losses incurred by the plant are currently being assessed.

The Saratov Oil Refinery is capable of processing approximately 7 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, and other petroleum products.

The facility also supplies Russian troops with fuel and lubricants. The General Staff emphasized that the Armed Forces continue to strike key targets of Russia’s military-industrial complex.

As of the morning of September 10, 2026, the Russian army’s total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion amount to approximately 1,502,390 military personnel. In the past 24 hours alone, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia lost another 1,520 servicemembers.

The day before, 221 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. The enemy launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Defense Forces repelled 21 assaults, and Russian troops lost more than 60 occupiers.
