Defense forces repelled more than forty attacks in the Pokrovsk direction
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled a large-scale offensive by Russian occupiers, recording a total of 158 combat engagements along the entire front line.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The heaviest fighting was observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy made 44 attempts to storm our troops’ positions.
Occupation forces continue to extensively use aircraft and unmanned systems to strike civilian cities and defensive lines.
Over the past 24 hours, the aggressor carried out 70 airstrikes, using 231 guided bombs, and deployed over 9,000 kamikaze drones of various types.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the areas around the settlements of Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, and Bilytske became the epicenter of the fighting.
The occupiers attempted to advance toward Novyi Donbas and Shevchenko, but Ukrainian units inflicted effective fire damage on the enemy and forced them to retreat.
Significant enemy activity was also recorded in the Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka sectors.
In the Huliaipole and Varvarivka areas, 17 attacks were repelled, and near Kostyantynivka and Pleshchiivka, defenders stopped 16 assault operations, preventing the enemy from improving its tactical position.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation and artillery are operating preemptively, destroying the invaders’ logistics and command posts.
Over the past day, a drone command post and eight areas where Russian army personnel and military equipment were concentrated were successfully struck.
In the southern sectors of the front, the enemy was active near the Antonivsky Bridge and Bilohrudy Island, carrying out two assaults.
All of the enemy’s attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses in the Dnipro direction proved futile thanks to the resilience of our infantry.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of significant activity by Russian drones.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also thwarted a Russian offensive planned for March.
