Air defense forces destroyed more than a hundred enemy drones in one day

On the night of February 13 (starting from 6:00 p.m. on February 12), Russian forces launched an attack using an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Russia’s Kursk region, as well as 154 strike UAVs, including Shahed-136, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones. The launches were carried out from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk, Hvardiiske and Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 100 of the drones were Shahed-type UAVs.

According to Ukraine’s air defense forces, the aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Preliminary data as of 08:30 indicate that air defense units shot down or suppressed 111 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones.

Hits by one missile and 22 strike UAVs were recorded at 18 locations. In addition, debris from downed drones fell at two locations.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of February 13, 2026, Russian occupying forces have suffered significant losses.
