Air defense forces shot down 86 of 124 drones throughout the day on September 28

Throughout the day on September 28, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 124 strike drones, including 86 jet-powered drones, as well as “Gerbera,” “Banderole,” “Dan-T,” and other types. The Kyiv region was the main target of the airstrikes.

According to preliminary data, air defense forces destroyed or neutralized 86 Russian UAVs, including 49 jet-powered drones. At the same time, enemy airstrikes were recorded at 26 locations.

As of 6:30 p.m., several attack UAVs were still observed in Ukrainian airspace, and the Defense Forces are urging citizens not to ignore air raid alerts.
