Stubb asks Musk to expand Starlink coverage over Russia — The Guardian
Finnish President Alexander Stubb asked SpaceX owner Elon Musk to expand Starlink satellite internet coverage for Ukraine over the territory of the Russian Federation, the aggressor state. As The Guardian reports, Kyiv believes this would make it possible to strike Russian ballistic missile launchers located on Russian territory.
Ukraine is experiencing an acute shortage of air defense systems to repel ballistic missiles. Starlink began operating in Ukraine shortly after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022 and became an important means of battlefield communication and drone control. At the same time, the service does not operate over Russian territory.
Zelenskyy's meetings in New York
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with executives of Wall Street companies on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. Ukrainian authorities said the discussions focused primarily on preparing Ukraine for winter and supporting its economy. Representatives of more than two dozen American companies took part in the meeting, organized by Citigroup and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
According to the publication, intensified Russian strikes on infrastructure and key export industries are deepening Ukraine's budget crisis. Daily spending on the war this year has reached approximately $190 million.

Denmark's warning and Russian strikes
Denmark's military intelligence service said there is a low but growing risk that Russia could in the coming months carry out long-range strikes on NATO infrastructure supporting Ukraine or launch a limited invasion of a neighboring country. According to the service's assessment, a small number of military personnel without insignia could be involved.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the Alliance has action plans to respond to sabotage and drone incidents in Europe. He linked the growing number of hybrid incidents in NATO countries to the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not winning the war against Ukraine.
Russian missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and northeastern Ukraine on Thursday killed eight people, officials said. Two people were killed in Kyiv; nine buildings, a post office, warehouses and dozens of cars were damaged. In Kharkiv region, a strike on a vegetable storage facility at a farm killed six people and injured another 12.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said his country had stepped up efforts to restore the Black Sea grain corridor. According to him, he discussed the matter again with Zelenskyy and received a positive response.
