Three communities in Kharkiv region hit by Russian strikes
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has struck three settlements in Kharkiv region, using aviation and other weapons on frontline areas.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on Facebook.
Civilians, residential buildings, and local infrastructure were under fire. Russian forces attacked several communities in the region, including settlements near the contact line, where the enemy regularly directs fire from Russian border areas.
Strikes were recorded on towns and villages in Kharkiv and border districts, where many residents have refused to leave despite the constant danger.
The attacks were primarily aerial, using bombs and missiles, which increased the area of destruction.
As a result of the recent shelling, there are civilian casualties and injuries, with some people sustaining shrapnel wounds in their homes and on the streets. Residential houses, outbuildings, vehicles, and facilities used by locals daily were damaged.
Rescuers and medical personnel worked at the strike sites, extinguishing fires and providing aid to the injured, while law enforcement documented another Russian war crime.
Regional authorities are urging residents of frontline communities not to ignore air raid alerts and, if possible, evacuate from the areas under heaviest fire.
Recall that Russians also attacked Zaporizhzhia region with cluster munitions.
Additionally, Russia struck Fastiv for the third time in one night.
