In March, Russian losses exceeded 35,000, setting a record for the war — Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that in March, the Russian army suffered its heaviest losses since the start of the full-scale war.

According to him, more than 35,000 invaders were killed or seriously wounded.

Specifically, nearly 34,000 of those casualties were caused by strikes from Ukrainian drones, and over a thousand more by artillery and other weapons.

The President emphasized that all this data is confirmed by video footage.

Also in March, the Defense Forces destroyed 274 enemy air defense systems and dealt significant blows to enemy depots and logistics.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is gradually depriving the enemy of the ability to dictate the situation on the front lines.

As a reminder, the Kremlin has already rejected the idea of an Easter truce.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that some of Ukraine’s partners have asked to reduce strikes on Russia’s oil sector following the global energy crisis. He emphasized that Ukraine is acting not simply to strike, but in response to attacks.
