The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine denied reports of an attack on the Yagodin border crossing
No hits were recorded at the “Yagodin” border crossing on the Ukrainian-Polish border during Russia’s nighttime airstrike.
Earlier, information circulated on social media about an alleged Russian strike on a gas station near the Yagodin checkpoint. It was reported that a large fire had broken out at the gas station.
Andriy Demchenko emphasized that there were no direct hits on the “Yagodin” border crossing point itself.
At the same time, the State Border Guard Service noted that due to the intensification of Russian airstrikes and the declaration of air raid alerts at border crossing points, border crossing operations are being temporarily suspended.
These measures are being taken to ensure the safety of people at the checkpoints.
Reports of a fire at a gas station near the “Yagodin” checkpoint appeared on social media following an overnight attack by Russia.
However, there is currently no information indicating that the checkpoint itself was hit. The circumstances of the fire and its possible connection to the Russian attack are being investigated.
