In Dzerzhinsk, drones attacked a Russian Defense Ministry missile arsenal
In Dzerzhinsk, Russia, in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the 53rd Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense was likely hit during a drone attack.
According to OSINT analysts, the first explosion occurred near the arsenal’s territory, located in the Yuganets workers’ settlement area. The second explosion was recorded in the western part of Dzerzhinsk following an engagement by Russian air defense forces.
The attack took place on the night of August 19. Heavy smoke was observed in the city. Analysts speculate that the source of the smoke may have been the Sverdlov Plant—one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of explosives.

Russian air defense systems also opened fire in a residential area.
