Russian forces continue attacks on heat generation facilities in Kherson

In Kherson, Russian shelling of heat generation facilities continues, causing serious damage to the city’s infrastructure.

This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to official sources, Russian forces are carrying out continuous attacks that may lead to disruptions in heating supply. This issue has become particularly urgent, as recent strikes appear to have caused significant damage to local thermal power plants.

As a result of the attacks, around 470 residential buildings that require heating have been left without it, affecting over 40,000 residents.

Preliminary reports indicate that the occupying forces fired approximately 100 shells at the Kherson thermal power plant, which has suspended operations due to serious damage.

The heating situation in the city requires urgent attention, as the cold season is approaching, and the consequences could be catastrophic for Kherson residents.

Earlier, in Kupiansk, occupiers continue to offer “very strong” resistance, while Ukrainian forces are carrying out clearing operations.
Russian forces have also unsuccessfully attempted to storm Vovchanski Khutory for several days.
