Photos have been released in Kyiv showing the aftermath of Russian shelling in the Obolon district, where the strikes caused fires and damage to infrastructure.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Parked cars caught fire in the area. A nearby warehouse, a tire repair shop, and a store were also damaged.
The prosecutor’s office clarified that the two people killed in Kyiv were security guards at a car dealership who were on site during the strike.
Rescue workers are dealing with the aftermath of the fires, and emergency services are on the scene.
