In Kramatorsk, a fire broke out in one of the city’s churches as a result of a Russian attack that took place on August 11. After the strike, a fire broke out at the impact site and spread to the religious building.
Rescue workers are currently dealing with the aftermath of the shelling and assessing the extent of the damage.
On August 11, Russian troops launched another attack on Kramatorsk. The church came under fire, according to the report.
The attack caused the dome to catch fire.
Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, which covered an area of 140 square meters.
No reports of casualties have been received, the State Emergency Service emphasized.
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Donetsk Oblast reported this on Facebook.
More than 500 children are being evacuated from the Kramatorsk community due to the threat of shelling.
