The Kremlin responded to Zelenskyy's remark about visiting Moscow on a rocket

Russia has stated that Volodymyr Zelenskyy allegedly did not refuse to hold talks in Moscow. Earlier, the Ukrainian president gave a “brusque” response to a question about a possible visit to the Russian capital.

 

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russia has reportedly not yet heard of any official refusal by the Ukrainian president to make a possible visit to the Russian capital.

“Zelenskyy has not refused to come to Moscow. At least, I haven’t heard anything to that effect,” Peskov said.

In addition, the dictator’s spokesperson drew attention to the Ukrainian president’s active public engagements in the U.S. He noted that Zelenskyy “is making a lot of statements right now” during events on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Earlier, Zelenskyy promised to fly to Moscow on a rocket in response to a question from Russian journalists.

Prior to that, Zelenskyy had named a possible location for a meeting with Trump and Putin.
