On the night of 11 February, Ukraine’s Armed Forces successfully repelled a massive Russian attack
On the night of 11 February, Russian forces attempted to attack Ukrainian territory using 129 strike drones of the Shahed type and other models. The assault was launched from several directions, including Bryansk and Kursk.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Ukraine’s Armed Forces responded swiftly to the threat, deploying aircraft, air defence systems, and electronic warfare units. As a result, 112 enemy UAVs were shot down or suppressed. As of 08:00, the attack was still ongoing, but Ukraine’s air defence forces were successfully countering the aerial assault.
The enemy strikes caused several emergency situations across the country. In particular, explosions triggered a large-scale fire that left more than 11,000 people without electricity.
Earlier, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 820 occupiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed a Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system.
