A fire broke out at the port of Ust-Luga following a drone attack
On the night of September 1, the Ust-Luga port area in the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation came under attack by drones. Following the strike, damage was reported and a fire broke out on the grounds of one of Russia’s largest commercial seaports on the Baltic Sea.
This was reported by the region’s governor, Oleksandr Drozdzenko.
According to him, emergency services are working at the scene of the incident. Efforts to repel the attack are currently underway, and information regarding the consequences and extent of the damage is being clarified.
The Port of Ust-Luga is one of Russia’s largest commercial seaports on the Baltic Sea. The facility is located in the Leningrad Oblast on the coast of the Gulf of Finland and is of strategic importance to the Russian Federation’s economy and defense-industrial complex.
There were 225 combat engagements on the front lines over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff.

In Kyiv, firefighters extinguished a large-scale fire that broke out in the Holosiivskyi district following a Russian attack on the morning of August 30. The fire engulfed a non-residential building covering an area of approximately 3,000 square meters; there were no casualties or injuries.
