The death toll from the Russian missile attack on Pryluky in the Chernihiv region on October 7 has risen to 19. Among the dead are five children; another 55 people were injured. Search and rescue operations at the site of the strike are ongoing.

 

In Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, efforts are continuing to address the aftermath of the Russian missile attack that occurred on October 7. According to the latest data, the death toll has risen to 19 people. Among the dead are five children. Another 55 people sustained injuries or other trauma as a result of the Russian strike. As of 6:30 p.m., rescue workers and medical personnel reported 55 casualties. The figures may be subject to change, as operations at the site of the attack are not yet complete.

The Russian strike caused significant destruction in the residential area of Pryluky. Police have already inspected 346 destroyed and damaged apartments in high-rise buildings. Nine private residential homes were also damaged. In addition, investigators documented damage to 34 vehicles.

Law enforcement officials continue to document the aftermath of the attack and gather information about the harm caused to people. Search and rescue operations at the site of the strike are ongoing. Rescuers are clearing debris, searching for people, and simultaneously addressing the aftermath of the Russian attack. Meanwhile, local authorities and emergency services continue to assist those affected. The number of fatalities and injuries may change once search operations are completed.

The Russian attack on Pryluky took place on October 7. The strike killed 19 people, including five children, and injured another 55. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Chernihiv region.

As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of a nighttime attack.
