In Russia, Kirill Budanov, the former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and current head of the Office of the President, has been arrested in absentia. In the aggressor country, he is accused of allegedly using prohibited methods of warfare.
Previously, a court in Moscow had already issued a warrant for Budanov’s arrest in absentia while he was serving as head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. At that time, he was accused of allegedly organizing terrorist attacks.
