An alert was issued in Omsk, Russia, due to the threat of drones

A drone threat has been declared in Russia’s Omsk Region, which is located approximately 2,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Amid reports of a possible drone attack in the region, which is home to Russia’s largest oil refinery, the evacuation of medical facilities has begun.

This is the second time a drone threat alert has been declared in the Omsk region since the start of the full-scale war. Upon receiving the alert, all medical facilities in the region began evacuating.

The situation is particularly noteworthy because Omsk is home to Russia’s largest oil refinery. According to sources, this facility has not previously been targeted.

The distance from Omsk to the Ukrainian border is about 2,500 km. As of now, no official information has been received regarding explosions, damage to facilities, or the consequences of a possible attack.

This is reported with reference to Russian propaganda media.

In Kurgan, Russia, drones attacked the “Kurganmashzavod” plant.

As a reminder, the Security Service of Ukraine announced a successful strike on the “Saki” military airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the security service, the drones struck hangars where Russian combat aircraft may have been stationed, after which a fire broke out at one of the facilities.
