Russia cynically called the massive attack on Ukraine a retaliatory strike
The Russian military has issued a cynical justification for yet another prolonged, coordinated attack on Ukrainian cities, calling it an act of revenge.
While enemy propaganda reports on successes, Ukrainian rescue workers are dealing with the aftermath of strikes on residential areas.
The Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed the use of a wide range of weapons. In particular, the invaders claimed that Russian troops allegedly launched a massive strike with “Kinzhal” missiles against industrial facilities and airfields.
The Russian side, as usual, ignores the destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population.
The ministry dryly asserts that “the strike objectives were achieved, and all designated targets were hit,” despite numerous photographic evidences of strikes on residential areas.
In reality, the consequences of the attack were catastrophic for ordinary residents.
In particular, in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, a stairwell of a nine-story residential building, where people were present, was completely destroyed as a result of the Russian strike.
In addition to the capital, other regions of Ukraine were also hit, with damage to the power grid reported.
In Kremenchuk, strikes on critical infrastructure facilities were recorded, leading to power and water supply disruptions in residential neighborhoods.
