A fire broke out at a rocket manufacturing plant in Samara
A fire broke out at the “CSKB-Progress” facility in Samara, Russia, following an attack. According to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, the plant manufactures medium-class launch vehicles and unmanned space vehicles.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, reported on the fire at the facility. According to him, the fire broke out after the strike. “In Samara, following the strike, ‘CSKB-Progress’—a plant that manufactures medium-class launch vehicles and unmanned space vehicles—is on fire,” Kovalenko wrote.
He did not provide any further details regarding the strike itself, its consequences, or possible damage to the facility. There is also currently no information on the extent of the fire, the number of casualties, or the scale of damage on the plant’s premises.
