In Samara region, Russia, drones attacked the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery
Russia reported a nighttime drone attack in Samara region, targeting the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery (NPR).
According to OSINT analysis by ASTRA, eyewitness videos showed that the “flashes after the attack on Novokuibyshevsk in Samara region on the night of November 27 occurred directly above the local oil refinery.”
Footage filmed from a city street shows at least three flashes: in the air at a height of about 1.5 km above the horizon, likely anti-aircraft fire south of the refinery (the distance from the filming location to the explosion is over 3.5 km), on a ravine.
Local authorities have not yet commented on the attack. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported shooting down 18 drones overnight over Samara region.
Previously, unknown drones also attacked Cheboksary, located in the Chuvash Republic of Russia.
