Authorities in Sloviansk plan to implement a mandatory evacuation of children from the areas most affected by Russian shelling.
This was announced by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
According to him, the relevant order has already been signed and submitted for approval to the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Operations.
The evacuation will affect a number of streets and alleys, particularly in the Semenivka, Vysokoivanivka, and Skhidnyi neighborhoods and surrounding areas.
“I have signed an order for the compulsory evacuation of children from certain areas of Sloviansk that are most vulnerable to enemy shelling,” Filashkin noted.
The decision aims to protect the lives and safety of children in the frontline city, which is regularly subjected to attacks.
