On the evening of September 25, a Russian drone struck Sumy. A 14-year-old girl was injured in the attack; at the time of the explosion, she was on the street near the site of the strike. The girl was hospitalized; doctors describe her condition as serious but stable.
This was reported by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional State Administration. According to him, the girl was injured on the evening of September 25 during a Russian drone strike on the city. At the moment of the explosion, she was on the street, not far from the impact site. “Another child was injured today in a Russian strike on Sumy. A 14-year-old girl was injured in the evening as a result of a strike by an enemy drone. At the moment of the explosion, the child was on the street near the site of the strike,” Grigorov wrote.
The girl was taken to the hospital. Her condition is serious but stable. Medical personnel are providing her with the necessary care. The head of the Sumy Regional State Administration also wished the child a speedy recovery and offered his support to her family. “Strength to the child and her family. A speedy recovery to her and to all those affected by Russian attacks,” Grigorov noted.
On the same day, Sumy came under further Russian attacks. Earlier reports indicated that following an attack with guided aerial bombs, the number of casualties in the city had risen to 12 people. As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties. In addition, one tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were destroyed.
