Explosions were heard in Ternopil following a jet-powered drone attack

On September 29, during an air raid alert in Ternopil, the sounds of explosions were heard. Shortly before that, residents had been warned about a Russian jet drone in the area.

 

Explosions were heard in Ternopil amid an attack by a Russian jet-powered drone. The day before, the Ternopil Regional Military Administration had warned of an enemy UAV heading toward the regional capital. Air defense systems were reportedly activated in the city.

Local residents reported hearing explosions during the air raid alert. Information regarding the possible consequences of the attack is currently being verified.

Residents are urged to remain in shelters until the air raid alert ends.
