Strike on Sumy region: critical infrastructure damaged, civilians injured
In Sumy region, as a result of drone strikes on the Richkivska community, damage was reported to two private houses and critical infrastructure, the National Police said.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 105 attacks on 33 settlements in the region, using FPV drones and strike UAVs. As a result, two civilians—a 40-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman—were injured.
Police investigative and operational teams, along with explosive ordnance disposal specialists, worked actively at the strike sites, documenting the crimes and addressing the aftermath. Damage included not only residential buildings but also shops, non-residential premises, a passenger car, and a power line.
These events highlight the serious threats to civilians and critical infrastructure in the region, as well as the ongoing level of violence in Ukraine.
