Russian Strike on Bus in Kharkiv Region Kills Three People

As a result of a Russian strike on a regular passenger bus in the Kharkiv region, the death toll has risen to three. Law enforcement officers and rescue services are continuing to work at the scene, while details of the incident and information about the injured are being clarified.

This was reported on Facebook by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The investigation established that at around 09:05 on Friday, 13 March, a missile strike occurred near the village of Nova Oleksandrivka. According to preliminary information, Russian forces used an Iskander-M missile.

At the time of the attack, a scheduled passenger bus was nearby. The bus itself, as well as private residential houses, were damaged.

“As a result of the strike, three people were killed: the bus driver and two passengers. Four more people – three female passengers of the bus and a local resident – were injured,” the Office of the Prosecutor General stated.

Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – a war crime that resulted in deaths.

Earlier it was reported that Russians attacked a passenger bus in the Kharkiv region, killing one person and injuring four others.

It is worth recalling that Russia may carry out a new massive missile attack in the coming days, according to the National Security and Defence Council.

Over the past day, the Russian army has lost another 860 soldiers on the front line, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the last 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled 122 enemy attacks along the entire front line. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka directions. The enemy used air strikes, kamikaze drones and artillery, but the Defence Forces systematically inflicted fire damage on the occupying troops.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Merlin-VR reconnaissance drone.
