Ukrainian drones hit a military town in Chechnya
On Thursday, November 27, explosions were reported at the Rosgvardiya military town “Akhmat-North” in Grozny, according to the Russian Telegram channel Astra.
According to sources, strike drones hit one of the buildings of the Rosgvardiya “Akhmat-North” regiment in the Baysangurovsky district of the city. Activists from the opposition movement NIYSO reportedly have photos of the aftermath, but they have not been published yet “for safety reasons.”
In Chechnya, warnings were issued about possible drone strikes and mobile internet disruptions. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported Ukrainian drone attacks twice on November 27 — at night, when 118 UAVs were recorded, and during the day.
As of now, there have been no official comments from the Ukrainian command or the Grozny city authorities regarding the explosions and fire.
Russia reported a nighttime drone attack in Samara Oblast, which targeted the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery.
