Ukrainian drones destroyed a Russian "Nebo-M" radar system worth $100 million
Ukrainian forces struck a Russian “Nebo-M” mobile radar system near the Millerovo military airfield. The target was located approximately 175 km from the front line.
Soldiers from the 429th Separate “Achilles” Unmanned Systems Brigade and the 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade participated in the operation. The strike utilized the Ukrainian RAM-2X loitering munition manufactured by Ukrspecsystems.
The estimated cost of such a Russian system is about $100 million. The “Nebo-M” is designed to detect air and ballistic targets at medium and high altitudes.
According to the Ukrainian military, the radar is capable of detecting aircraft at distances of up to 500–600 km and ballistic targets at distances of up to 1,500 km. According to its stated specifications, the system can detect low-observable aerial objects at a distance of 200–400 km.
Russian troops use the Millerovo airfield, in particular, to launch attack and decoy drones into Ukrainian territory.

On the morning of September 13, oil refining infrastructure was attacked in Nizhnekamsk, in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The city is home to one of the largest and most modern oil refining complexes in the Russian Federation.
On the night of September 12, Ukrainian drones continued to respond in kind to Russian attacks on our cities. The drones struck two Russian cities—Tolyatti and Taganrog. In Togliatti, a strategic chemical plant was targeted, while in Taganrog, several fires were reported, including at the airport and a car manufacturing plant.
As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated: Russia, as an aggressor state, will face a response if it launches strikes against the Ukrainian energy system this winter.
