A Ukrainian interceptor drone shot down a Geran-4 jet for the first time

The "General Chereshnya Bullet" interceptor drone successfully engaged a Russian "Geran-4" jet drone for the first time. The target was destroyed by UAV operators from the Separate Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard.

The interceptor caught up with the high-speed target and destroyed it in mid-air.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the “Geran-4” is equipped with a turbojet engine and can reach speeds of up to 500 km/h. Its warhead can carry up to 50 kg of explosives, while the thermobaric variant can carry up to 90 kg.

The “General Chereshnya Bullet” reaches speeds of up to 320 km/h and is capable of intercepting drones at altitudes of up to 2,000 meters. The system operates day and night and can respond to an interception within a few minutes after detecting a target.
