Since the start of the day, the Russian army has carried out 40 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The occupiers are most active in the Pokrovsk direction.

Ukrainian troops have also carried out successful offensive operations in the Sumy region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14.

The Russians continue to shell the border areas. Today, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Kysla Dubyna, Korenok, and Budky in the Sumy region, as well as Mykhalchyna-Sloboda in the Chernihiv region, came under enemy fire.

Russian forces carried out airstrikes on Bublikove, Novoivanivka, and Pishchane.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the invaders fired on settlements and positions of Ukrainian defenders 35 times, including seven times using multiple launch rocket systems.

“In the Sumy region, our units conducted active operations and were successful,” the General Staff reported.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Russian army stormed the positions of the Defense Forces three times in the areas of Starytsia and Lyman.

One combat engagement is ongoing in the Kupiansk direction. The enemy is attacking toward Kurylivka.

In the Lyman direction, the invaders launched five assaults toward Drobysheve and Dibrova. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, Russian troops attacked twice toward Ozerny and Riznykivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy has not yet carried out any active operations today.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russian army carried out six attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Sofiivka. One engagement is ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russians attempted 11 times to dislodge the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and Molodetske, toward Dorozhne and Serhiivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders launched six offensives in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, Kalynivka, and Zlagoda.

Enemy aircraft struck the outskirts of Ivanivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four attacks by Russian forces in the Huliaipole area and toward Hirky.

Russian forces carried out airstrikes on the areas of Novoukrainka, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Rivne, and Dolynka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders carried out airstrikes on the areas of Omelnyk, Novoivanivka, and Komyshuvakha.

In the Dnipro direction, the Russians carried out a futile assault toward the Antonivsky Bridge.

In other sectors of the front, the situation remains largely unchanged. The Russian army has failed in its attempts to advance.

The Ukrainian military is wearing down the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.
