Video: Budanov Calls for a Ceasefire Until Winter

On September 12, Kirill Budanov, head of the Office of the President, made a statement regarding a possible freeze in the war along the current front lines until winter sets in.

He expressed his opinion on the sidelines of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) conference, organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

“I believe we will find a way to stop the war,” Budanov said.

At the same time, the head of the Office of the President refrained from predicting a specific timeframe, noting, “When will this happen? Everyone will see.”

Budanov also responded to speculation that the visit by American negotiators to Ukraine might be linked to the U.S.’s desire to strengthen its own position ahead of the congressional elections.

“Each side has its own goals. If they’re addressing their own issues at the same time, what’s wrong with that? I don’t see any problem with it if that’s the case,” he emphasized, according to Novyny.LIVE.

As a reminder, part of the Rivne region was left without electricity due to Russian shelling.

Earlier, the Russians struck a passenger train at the Lutsk train station.

As a reminder, last night the Russians fired Kalibr missiles at a high-rise building in Odesa.

In the Black Sea near Odesa, two Azerbaijani sailors were killed on September 9 when the Somali-flagged tugboat TEDY was attacked by drones.

In Odesa, a Russian attack on September 10 damaged warehouse buildings belonging to a volunteer organization where humanitarian aid and essential supplies were stored.
