Video: Paratroopers eliminate an occupying force column near Pokrovsk
Near Pokrovsk, paratroopers destroyed a column of Russian military quad bikes.
This was reported on Telegram by the 25th Separate Sicheslav Airborne Brigade, which emphasised that thanks to coordinated actions by aviation and paratroopers, the enemy’s attempts to carry out their plans are being systematically thwarted.
“The enemy is constantly making new plans, but all of them break against our defence. Every day we deliver a powerful response and keep the situation on our territory under control,” the servicemen stated.
The enemy is actively using mobile units, including quad bikes, for rapid attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces.
Overall combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine — from 24 February 2022 to 4 January 2026 — amount to approximately 1,211,530 personnel, including 900 over the past day.
As of 16:00 on Saturday, 3 January 2026, 104 combat engagements had taken place along the entire front line. At the same time, Russian invaders continue intensive shelling of border regions and the positions of the Defence Forces.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 46 attacks by Russian occupying forces and eliminated more than 200 enemy troops over the course of 2 January. Fighting continues in the areas of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, where Ukrainian units control key positions and destroy enemy equipment.
The situation for occupation force units located directly within Kupiansk is critical as of early January 2026.
