Video: Drones Attacked Wildberries' Largest Warehouse in Central Russia

On the night of August 5, drones attacked the Wildberries logistics complex in Aleksin, Tula Oblast, Russian Federation. The company’s largest warehouse in Russia’s Central Federal District, with an area of approximately 300,000 square meters, was hit.

Online media outlets were the first to report on the attack on the warehouse in Aleksin—the Exilenova+ channel wrote about the strike on the facility without providing details on the extent of the damage. Alexin is located 59 km from Tula, and the straight-line distance from there to the Ukrainian border is over 350 km.

The logistics center in Aleksin is one of Wildberries’ largest facilities: the complex was launched in the summer of 2022, covers an area of approximately 300,000 square meters, and required over 22 billion rubles in construction investments. It is the company’s largest distribution center in Russia’s Central Federal District.

Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that air defense systems shot down another 10 drones that were heading toward the Russian capital.
