Video: Madyar Reports the Destruction of a Su-33, a MiG-29, and an Entire "ZOO" of Russian Air Defense Systems
Robert Brovdi (call sign “Madyar”), commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, reported on August 23 on the results of operations against Russian terrorist targets.
“Three aircraft were
shot down: a Su-33, a MiG-29, and an Orion strike and reconnaissance aircraft, as well as a whole ‘zoo’ of enemy air defense elements: 8 radar systems, an S-400 battalion position in Gelendzhik, and 2 Tor and Pantsir air defense missile systems. Eleven out of 14 targets were successfully engaged in the marshes of the Rostov Oblast and the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation; the other three were in Crimea,” Madyar wrote on his Facebook page.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out localized counterattacks and advanced in several sectors of the front. According to the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian forces halted the Russian advance in the Kozacha Lopana area and also made gains near Kostiantynivka and in the Zaporizhzhia region.
On the night of August 23, Ukrainian forces struck several key Russian military targets in occupied Crimea. Among them were a radar station, a storage and launch site for unmanned naval vessels, and a relay station for controlling strike drones.
The Ukrainian military struck a Russian launcher for the “Iskander” missile system, which was located near the Ukrainian border.
