Robert Brovdi, Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, announced a new phase of Operation “MoLoChka” in the Black Sea. According to him, on the night of July 15, Ukrainian drones struck 20 Russian-owned vessels.

“The next phase of the UAS ‘MoLoChKa’ operation has been launched in time for Ukrainian Statehood Day—UAS ‘Birds’ in the Black Sea. The tally has begun: the first 20 tankers in the Black Sea were taken out on the night of July 15,” Brovdi wrote.

Among the vessels struck were 17 oil tankers, two gas tankers, and one tugboat.

The commander also noted that the first phase of the naval operation in the Sea of Azov concluded with the destruction of 116 vessels of the Russian Federation’s shadow fleet, after which the operation was shifted to the Black Sea.

“116 vessels of the Russian Federation’s shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov—the first round of the naval battle is over. Now it’s the Black Sea,” he emphasized.

Brovdi added that an official report confirming the results of the operation and including video footage will be released later.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces pushed back Russian troops near the villages of Maliivka, Sichneve, Novohorhiivka, and Zaporizke in the Synelnykivskyi District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Over the past 24 hours, 244 combat engagements took place on the front lines. Ukrainian forces continue to repel the advance of Russian occupation forces, inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.

On the night of July 14, Russian forces launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine, using ballistic missiles, guided air-to-ground missiles, and attack drones. Air defense forces intercepted five ballistic missiles, two Kh-59/69 missiles, and 108 enemy drones.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s drone forces have struck or destroyed 1,559 Russian military targets, including 15 enemy vessels.
