Video: Kipish, an occupier from Buryatia, was captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the second time
Russian soldier Mikhail Fomin, whose call sign is “Kipish,” has been captured by Ukrainian troops for the second time. This time, according to reports, he does not want to return to Russia.
Soldiers from the 61st Separate Mechanized Steppe Brigade shared the story of this occupier.
“They say you can’t step into the same river twice. ‘Kipish’ managed to do it—though, admittedly, he was captured a second time. After his first capture, they promised him, ‘You’ll go home.’ But instead of a furlough—an assault rifle, a body armor vest, and back to the front lines. His second deployment ended with him meeting the soldiers of the 61st Steppe Mechanized Brigade,” the Ukrainian defenders recount.
According to the Russian, the previous time he was captured by fighters from the 108th Separate Kodatsk Territorial Defense Brigade.
However, this time “Kipish” no longer seeks an exchange, since back home he faces either a prison sentence for surrendering or being forcibly sent back to the front, where he may not get a third chance.
