Video: The 37th Brigade reported a decrease in Russian activity in the Oleksandrivka sector
After unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground, Russian troops have scaled back their activities on the Oleksandrivka front. The brigade speculates that some of the reserves may have been redeployed to other sections of the front.
Senior Lieutenant Denis Bobkov, head of the communications department of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade, spoke about this on Army TV.
According to him, within the brigade’s area of operations, the enemy is not showing any sudden changes in the nature of its actions.
“Basically, compared to other sectors—which are very active and intense—we are currently experiencing what could be described as a lull in enemy activity in the Oleksandrivka sector, at least within our area of operations,” noted Denis Bobkov.
He reported that a few days ago, one of the units of the 37th Brigade conducted strike and reconnaissance operations. According to the military official, the operation was successful.
He noted that following Ukrainian counteroffensives, the Russians attempted to recapture lost positions. However, these attempts were unsuccessful, and the enemy suffered significant casualties.
“I think that it was precisely after these attempts that the enemy realized for itself that, at least for now, with the forces and resources at its disposal, it will not be able to carry out successful counteroffensive operations in this direction, in the Oleksandrivka sector," said the head of the communications department.
According to him, after that, the Russians likely redeployed some of their reserves to other sectors, in particular to counter the “Vivaldi” offensive operation, as well as to the Sumy and Kharkiv sectors. At the same time, no significant changes have been recorded in the 37th Brigade’s sector.
The Russian military is showing the most activity somewhat behind the front lines—specifically, pilots of reconnaissance and strike drones who are moving behind the line of engagement.
However, the Ukrainian military has not yet observed the construction of large new engineering fortifications or large-scale structures for enemy infantry.
Despite this, the enemy continues to actively use drones to deter Ukrainian offensive operations, as well as artillery and aviation.
