Video: Explosions were heard in Belgorod and Lipetsk during a missile alert

On the night of July 21, air raid alerts were issued in several regions of Russia due to the threat of a missile strike. Against this backdrop, residents in Belgorod and Lipetsk reported loud explosions.

In Belgorod, the water supply was partially cut off following a series of explosions.

According to preliminary reports, the missiles may have struck energy infrastructure facilities in the city.

Explosions were also heard in Lipetsk, and a fire broke out. The fire was reported in the area of the local thermal power plant.

Earlier, the General Staff reported that three tankers and key Russian facilities had been struck overnight.

As a reminder, the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” confirmed that two Ukrainian soldiers who appeared in a video released by Russian propagandists were taken prisoner during the fighting in Kostiantynivka. The unit emphasized that this does not mean the loss of the city or the failure of the operation, and stated that they will work to bring their fighters home.

The EU has imposed sanctions against the leadership of the Mordovian penal colony where Ukrainian prisoners were tortured.
