Video: In Perm, a drone struck a high-rise building as a result of Russian electronic warfare operations

In Perm, Russia, one person was killed and four others were injured when a drone crashed into a residential high-rise building as a result of local electronic warfare operations. This was reported on September 7 by Dmitry Makhonin, governor of the Perm Krai.

 

According to him, the attack damaged an apartment building. Preliminary reports indicate that the injured are receiving the necessary medical care.

A temporary shelter has been set up for the residents of the damaged building. Makhonin also stated that the Capital Repair Fund is expected to begin restoring the building in the near future.

The governor claims that, in total, Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down 27 drones over the Perm Krai. In addition to the high-rise building, a private home and the surrounding area were damaged as a result of a failed electronic warfare operation. According to him, there were no casualties there.

The Ukrainian monitoring channel Supernova+ stated that the target of the attack may have been the Perm Oil Refinery, which had previously been struck by drones.
