The Navy destroyed Russian targets on the "Sivash" drilling rig in the Black Sea
The Ukrainian Navy destroyed Russian targets on the “Sivash” drilling rig, located in the Golitsyn gas condensate field in the Black Sea.
According to the Navy, Russian military personnel used equipment on the drilling rig to control attack drones, as well as to guide and adjust attacks on southern cities in Ukraine.
In addition, using reconnaissance equipment, the occupiers tracked the movements of Ukrainian drones and unmanned boats.
Russian special forces units were also based at the rig, and weapons were deployed there, including man-portable missile systems and other equipment designed to counter Ukrainian drones and maritime drones.

Between August 1 and 8, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems struck 12 more vessels of the Russian shadow fleet in the Black and Azov Seas.
On the night of August 8, drones attacked the Krasnodar Krai and Samara Oblast in Russia. The strikes caused massive fires at two oil refineries.
