Overnight, Russian occupiers fired at Ukraine with Zircon missiles, drones, and Banderole missiles

On the night of September 18–19, Russian terrorist forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using two “Zircon” anti-ship missiles, 174 attack drones, and “Banderole” drones. Air defense forces destroyed most of the enemy targets.

 

The Russian invaders attacked:

  • two “Zircon” anti-ship missiles from the Kursk region;

  • 174 Shahed-type strike drones (half of which were jet-powered), “Gerbera” drones, “Banderol”/“Dan-T” loitering munitions, and “Parody” decoy drones from the following directions: Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk—Russian Federation; Donetsk—temporarily occupied territory; Gvardeyskoye—temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The main targets of the attack are the Odesa and Kyiv regions.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down or neutralized 141 targets:

  • 3 “Banderole”/“Dan-T”;

  • 138 enemy Shahed, "Gerbera," and other types of drones.

Enemy air strikes were recorded at 15 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at 9 locations. Enemy missiles did not reach their targets; information on their impact sites is being verified.

This is stated in a report by the Ukrainian Air Force.

As a reminder, on the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.

On the evening of Friday, September 18, Russian terrorists launched a strike with guided bombs on Sumy. One of the bombs struck a high-rise residential building in the city, killing two people.

On Friday evening, September 18, Russian occupiers attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles.
